Disgusted in Pick ‘n Pay not so ASAP
I am utterly disgusted in Pick n Pay ASAP’s service delivery! I placed an order at 16:17 for my family’s supper, we had guests over. After almost 3 hours of waiting for the “ASAP” service I decided to call using my own airtime, I was put on hold for about 10 minutes. 10 minutes into holding I receive an incoming call (18:50) from Pick n Pay ASAP, a lady named Kayline who could not provide me with her surname or a reference number informed me that my order was received at 16:30 and the store closes at 17:00 therefore my order could not be placed and would be delivered on Sunday morning only! I was livid! She could not provide me with any other information and confirmed she’s not actually from the team, she can escalate the matter but is not sure that it will be attended to today she advised me to call customer service again and hold not telling me that I am going to finish my airtime and that it’s after hours, my call will not be answered! Had I been informed in advance, there’s a Pick n Pay store 6 mins from my house (Pick n Pay Willows Crossing) which closes at 19:00 and not 17:00. I could have spared myself the embarrassment and extra cost of driving out to a takeaway outlet to get food for my family and guests. Bare in mind this is the 2nd time this happens!!!!
It is now Sunday morning 08:48, the ETA delivery time changed from 08:30 - 09:00 to 09:30 - 10:00! We cannot leave for church! And I am uncertain what time the parcel will het here! I have been a loyal ASAP customer but have to admit Checkers 60 60 is better!
Pick ‘n Pay have a stinking attitude and never does anything to compensate customers for poor service delivery! They have a take it or leave it attitude!
