Disgusted and disappointed customer!!

I bought groceries and a pomegranate juice from PnP Craighall Park this month, got home and only realised the juice had actually (expired in December of 2022) I, however, fell ill and had to be in hospital for 2 days, came out and went to PnP to return the juice, luckily I still had the receipt. Firstly I was very weak but I needed the juice badly. I was received by a manager who asked to see my receipt and then instructed the guard to look for another bottle of Pomegranate juice for me. It wasn't there so he gave me my money back. What was shocking was that the juice had expired in December of 2022 and was still on the shelves at PnP Craighall Park. I trusted that this place sold up-to-date food. This manager was clueless when I asked him why an expired product from the previous year was still on their shelves. Well, I relaxed a bit on their chairs while waiting for the refund. I then headed back. The worst day here for me!!!! WHY DID THE MANAGER TAKE MY PHONE NUMBER? HE DID NOT EVEN ASK FOR MY NAME NOR DID I FILL IN A FORM FOR RETURNING THE PRODUCT!!! Disgusted and disappointed customer.

Shocking indeed! I was asked to produce product bar codes when I had already sent a live video that clearly reflected the bar code and all the last year's expiry dates. Someone could have been proactive in filing all of the product details from the video sent. The store never called me, instead I got an email about how PnP takes its business seriously....! I wonder if they even know which manager served me that day! Nonsense service it is so pathetic to think that PnP is such a huge brand in South Africa
