DISGRACEFUL BAKERY MANAGER AT PICK N PAY CAPEGATE.

I had the worst experience at Pick n Pay Capegate. The bakery manager said he would rather throw cake away, than selling it at a reduced price to a senior citizen, who wants to spoil his grand daughter. The cake in question had an expiry date of 19 July 2025. The cream on it, were already showing some cracks and separation. There were about 5 cakes, that fits my budget, with all of them an expiration date of 19 July 2025.The price was R99, 99. The joke is, that on top of the bakery shelves clearly states, " we sell freshness, whatever it takes". These cakes were surely not fresh. When asking him about customer satisfaction, he had a nasty smugg on his face. That's now the new Pick n Pay, after the death of the founder. Disgraceful. You will never found such substandard cakes at Pick n Pay Soneike or N1 City, in fact any other Pick n Pay. Get rid of these kind of junior managers, and you will recover sooner. It tells me as an informed consumer a mighty lot about the plummet is market shares of Pick n Pay. Luckily, there a other great managers, within the Pick n Pay group.
