<p>I have two old parents in a different town who can't drive. I therefore tried to shop online with Pick 'n Pay and then get the goods delivered the the old age home where they stay.</p> <p>Firstly, the web site was not developed by intelligent beings. It waits for the checkout page to let you know that half the items are not in stock. Secondly, when you get to the point of paying, it only accepts credit cards or an unfriendly PayU system. This latter is being phased out, so there is no way to sign up with them!</p> <p>It therefore leaves only one option: credit card, which I don't have. The site doesn't accept debit cards for which a PIN is needed, yet they accept credit cards of which all lately use a PIN! How daft. If this is the way they want it, Pick 'n Pay has lost my business.</p>
