Disappointment on a child's birthday

I went to Pick n Pay Hyper Northgate on Friday and went to the bakery section. I saw a cake which I wanted to place an order for my son's birthday which is today. The lady at the bakery said I dont need to place an order as the cake will be available on Sunday. I went today and guess what the cake was not there. I asked the same lady who was there on Friday she says sorry then she called the baker from the back he said sorry we not baking those cakes today. This was a real disappointment and all your staff can say is I'm sorry. I went to customer services and told them all they can say is sorry too. If only I knew this was the situation I would never have come there today. Also my child was totally disappointed. To have a dont care attitude by your staff told me Pick n pay does not care about their loyal customers. I thereafter went to a Spar and told them what happened they went and got a cake at the back and decorated to what we wanted. This shows your store will not and cannot go the extra mile. I will not shop at your store again as you don't value customers.
