Disappointing service

This is to complain about the service at Pick n Pay Bellville.

I have had many instances where I was very disappointed with the way that this branch treats its customers.

I'm a regular aramex shopper and use pick n pay to ship my items. Yesterday I was shocked to arrive at the branch before 3pm (it was around 2:45) and I was told by the security guy that aramex has already collected. Aramex is supposed to collect at 3pm and if pick n pay cared just even a little bit about their customers, they would not let the aramex pick up guy do as he pleases at the expense of the buyers. The pick up guy has on 1 occasion arrived before the time as I was still filling my waybill info in and the way that he shouted at me and rushed me was not nice, to say the least. The guy who usually collects at the Somerset branch is very friendly and patient. The guy who was collecting at the Tygervalley branch this week was very friendly and professional.

One time I mistakenly put the wrong item in my aramex sleeve and had to make a small cut to switch the contents. The security guy at the Bellville branch flat out refused to assist me with 3cm of sellotape to seal the bag. I thought ok, maybe since he works for the security company and not pick n pay, he might not understand so I went to ask one of the pick n pay employees. The lady refused to assist me.

If the branch does not want to work with aramex, they should just not offer the sleeve and drop box service.

There is no professionalism at all. This would sound so exaggerated to someone who hasn't witnessed it. The employees are rude. When someone walks past you and bumps into you after you've moved for them, aren't they're supposed to say sorry. I don't know if this just happens to me (only at this particular branch) because I'm small or this is just a normal thing that everyone's used to.

I have witnessed people give up on waiting in line to be serviced because the lady at the customer service till was either nowhere to be found or she was having a friendly conversation with someone who isn't even in line.

I currently have a customer who's aramex order is now late and she's blaming me for it when I got to the branch and dropped the item in the box before 3pm.

Basically, there are not rules or code of conduct at this branch. All employees do as they please with no fear of any consequences.
