DISAPPOINTED IN PICK N PAY MELKBOSSTRAND

Pick n Pay , Melkbosstrand , We have been going there for years , basically on a daily basis . Over the years there were little things EG when sales are advertised , stock shortages , rude and unhelpful staff. we choose to overlook it as they are the nearest food retailer apart from OK Foods & Woolworths Food , We tend to over look and forgive the shortfalls. BUT today the experience I had there today , I VOWED I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THAT PICK N PAY AGAIN. I will rather drive to OK , Woolworths , Spar or Checkers , Spend the extra on fuel and extra time driving there , than go to Pick n Pay and spend my money there. I went to the store this morning bought the Friday Burger Special. I went back later on as I forgot something and saw that they were running a Friday 13th Special on a few items. Got the items that I forgot and few of the specials , standing in the queue , my turn , gave my phone to the cashier , for my pick n pay loyalty card , she asked if I will be paying cash or card , said card and that she must please check that it goes off as the Friday Burger Special. She said that it doesn't go through as the special , as I bought one this morning. I said ok , so then cancel the transaction and I can use someone else Pick n Pay Loyalty care and then just pay with my bank card , She said it doesn't work like that , so I said then I will use another bank card from the same bank. The Gentleman next to me said that I can use his Pick n Pay loyalty card. The supervisor came over and said it doesn't work like that , being very rude. She said that every Pick n Pay loyalty card is linked to your bank card. When u get the loyalty card , you aren't asked for your bank details. So then every other deals that my husband has used my loyalty card and his bank card , should've gone through. The supervisor then said to me , what don't I understand , its very simple to understand. OH MY WORD I've never been spoken to like that and been embarrassed like that before. Generally the staff , apart from one supervisor that is always helpful and friendly at this Pick n Pay is beyond rude and when u enquire on a product they aren't interested in helping. So many times I've gone to this store and the staff are either on their phones or more interested in their conversations with other staff members. I wish the rating could be no stars at all. They won't be seeing me or my money any time soon or in the future
