Disappointed customer

I’m disappointed. I bought Basic Fur-Lined Boot at Pick n Pay at Highveld Mall “grocery store” only to find out when I get home that they’re damaged. I went to the nearest store which is in Klipfontein and I was told that “they can’t take them because I did not buy them there, I have to return them where I bought them because it not their loss”. I then asked if they can take them then transfer them to Highveld Mall they said no they cannot. Is it my fault that Highveld Mall merchandised damage products in their floor. I’m really disappointed I used money to go there and come back and now I have to use more money.
