Disappointed customer

I went to Pick N Pay Darras Center yesterday around 5pm and a customer clapped one of the ladies working there, after they had a misunderstanding and the lady had apologised. The security guard just stood at the door watching and didn't do anything about it. The manager who was there just went and spoke to the guy and never took any action against the guy. Why were the police not called for an assault happening in front of all the customers and the security guard? How safe are the staff and customers at Pick n Pay Darras centre?? I was very disappointed and hurt by what happened as the lady was helpless and no one came to her rescue.
