Differenct treatment for different customers

I think the last time I visited a Pick n Pay branch was when I had the problem with them not giving the specials that they were advertising over Easter, I complained about the dreadful customer service then.

Well in the Queensburgh branch (again) I was there on Saturday to draw some cash.

I joined the counter where cell phones are sold, in front of me were two African gentleman. The guy in the front wanted to draw some cash as well, the cashier "Jenny" very lethargically walks over to the cigarette counter and asks if they have cash because she does not they rep**** no, she goes back and tells him to join another queue, the queues were incredibly long. This guy tried to speak to her but she just dismissed him, and starts assisting the next customer. She says openly starts running down the previous customer saying and I quote "he stands there and looks at me as though I stupid". I did correct her and told her she has no right to speak about any customer to another customer. Needless to say she could not assist me wither with withdrawing money, however, she did offer to take me to another till where they would assist me immediately. I did speak to the manager on duty and told him this was not acceptable. Anyway I went to the Cigerette counter where I was able to withdraw cash and a couple customers asked what happened and I told them, many commented that they prefer shopping at Checkers and only come to Pick n Pay if they have to, the same as me. They also said that the cashier seemed to have a serious attitude problem from their previous experiences with her.

I would like to know how Pick 'n Pay can allow cashiers to openly run customers down to other customers, and also why I have been given "special treatment" why was the first African gentleman not offered the same courtesy of being assisted immediately at another till?

I trust this is going to be viewed in the same serious light I have seen it in.
