Dichotomous pricing policy leads to **************

I had the most unpleasant experience at your Knysna Liquor Store with regards to your pricing policy. The gin was on special for R139, if which I bought a case of 12 units. When I got to my car and unpacked, I had a look at the slip and I was charged R159.99. I then went back and told the manager Hyrom that I am aware of the pricing policy and even showed him your response in the above letter you wrote to Tanya. " If any item scans at a higher price than displayed on shelf and the bar code corresponds, we will give you the item at the marked price, PLUS double the difference off the first item and the subsequent items at the lower price". I told him that this last sentence means that the higher price is the R159.99, the marked price is the R139.00 and the lower price is the difference between the R139 and the double the difference which is R97. He was rude and said that I am wrong and then phoned Maritsa van Schalkwyk, your PRO in Port Elizabeth, which also told me that I was wrong, in which I told her that she does not understand their own policies. The manager said he has worked at this PnP for long now and that I must take it or leave it. That is, I must accept that he will give me the double the difference for the first bottle, but that the other 11 bottles will be charged at the marked price and not the lower price. What is there to take when buying it for the marked price? I told him that I can come back 12 times for the double the difference, but I bought a case of 12 and expect that he abides with the policy of PnP. He then said that "no, when this happens they correct the prices so that customers cannot come back more than once". Just yesterday, on the 21st of December, the same mistake was made at the same store at 12h36 and this other client got the full benefit of the policy an paid R97.02 per bottle which equated to R1164.24. If he corrected the prices as he said he does, then why did the price scan as R159.99 and not R139 as it was supposedly correct by him? In your response to Tanya, emphasized by you with capitals reads: "PLUS double the difference off the first item and the subsequent items at the lower price" I expect PnP to uphold their promise/policy. The lower price was the R97.02 and the marked price the R139.00. I had to pay R1626.02 whereas the customer of yesterday paid R1164.24, that is a difference of R461.78 which I have to pay for because PnP made the same mistake twice and did not correct it. What happened to the customer is always right? Is this some sort of **************? Why did the other customer pay the lower price, as per the pricing policy, and i have to pay the marked price (R139.00) for 11 bottles and only get the double the difference for one bottle? And again, then being told to TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT, by the manager is unacceptable. In addition, I also have the till slips to prove this, both mine and that of the other customers'.
