HI my wife was at pick n pay crescent umhlanga, and she picked up a pack of garlick rolls, served by a bakery personel, the section was not busy, they had stacks of garlick rolls, with burnt garlick on top, what is poor as the person that pulled this out of the oven would have noticed, as well as various staff that has been serving throughout the day, but the lady that served us, even put this tray in a bag for sealingand did not even notice this, we even questioned her, and she said it has a slight dis colour, in fact this was like charcoal sprinkled on the buns, I know pick and pay recycle a lot of old veggies from the delie, eg old mushrooms go onto the pitza, or old fish gets fried and served with chips, and we know this, whch is why we dont buy cooked pitzas, or delie food from pick n pay as went through this before, Im sure pick n pay just wants a good g.p, but why must us customers pay for charcoal sprinkled dust chips, if this umhlanga crescent has a bakery manager then this is even worst, pick n pay concentrate on standards before worrying about smart shopper cards that saves us few cents
Best regards,
