Dangerous to walk in Pick 'n Pay Faerie Glen hypermarket!

I'm very disappointed in Pick 'n Pay Faerie Glen hypermarket. On Tuesday, one day before her 73rd birthday, my elderly mother walked and fell in Pick 'n Pay Faerie Glen Hypermarket on meat fat that was on the floor. She injured her foot very badly. It was also not the first time that my mother fell in this specific hypermarket. On a previous occasion many years ago, she also fell in this Pick 'n Pay because of yogurt that was spilled on the floor and not cleaned up. The friendly first aider at the Pick 'n Pay who helped her into a wheelchair, said that if we call an ambulance and take my mother to the hospital, Pick 'n Pay will pay all the bills. However, it was not necessary to call the ambulance, since I was able to get her to my own vehicle. X-rays could not be taken because the foot was too swollen. I tried to phone the Pick 'n Pay later that same afternoon, but nobody answered the phone. I tried again and again without success. That is on its own already very negative. Yesterday, on my mother's birthday, she was in extreme pain. I phoned the Pick 'n Pay and this time after ringing for a very long time, I was able to talk to one of the hypermarket's employees who said that she was aware of the incident (the store manager was not available). I told her that although we are within our rights to take legal action against Pick 'n Pay, we are willing to let it go if Pick 'n Pay at least deliver to my mother's house bandages, Voltarin and Panado's for the pain. My mom also lives in Faerie Glen, close to the hypermarket. The lady said she will see what she can do. Later, another lady phoned me and said it's against Pick 'n Pay's policy. She said we can buy the products and then submit a claim. I asked her if she can guarantee that it will be paid by Pick 'n Pay, and she said no. There is no guarantee. This is really unacceptable for me because it was Pick 'n Pay's fault that my mother fell. We are willing not to take legal action (my mother's friend's husband is a lawyer and we have lawyers in our family), however, the hypermarket is not even willing to comply with our more than reasonable request... Furthermore, I just want to mention the following: if Pick 'n Pay's employees were rather more focussed on their work and not on socializing with one another, this incident would probably not have happened. They would've seen the mess on the floor. When I walk in this specific Pick 'n Pay, I'm always amazed at how rude some of the store's employees are. The customers must make way for them, or else they would bump into the customers. There are employees who are truly wonderful, but unfortunately, they are in the minority. I suggest Pick 'n Pay seriously consider training its employees in better customer service, as well as public relations in general. My mother lives on SASSA and couldn't afford the Voltaren, etc. which she would have need off if not for Pick 'n Pay Faerie Glen hypermarket! We hope Pick 'n Pay's national and regional management read this review and are more customer-friendly than the hypermarket's management. My mother's request is after all very reasonable. Please keep in mind, that if we should decide to take legal action with the help of lawyers that we know, it would cost Pick 'n Pay a lot more money. Yesterday, my mother had the most horrible birthday she ever had in her 73 years of life... all thanks to Pick 'n Pay Faerie Glen hypermarket.
