Customers can take your basket items while you pay

I had the unpleasant experience of using Pick 'n Pays online shopping website for the first time today.<br> <br> I had added 3 items to my basket then proceeded to checkout, the system prompted me to add my shipping address & then prompted me to choose my delivery date & time.<br> <br> Once I confirmed the delivery details, the system sent me back to the home page & emptied my cart. However it was kind enough to give me this message \Checkout in 153 mins to confirm""; reassured me that the items were taken by someone else while I was in the process of choosing the delivery time. She argued the point & informed me that in summary - it is how all on-line shopping websites worked. She also refused to put me through to anyone more senior.<br> <br> It is ridiculous that Pick 'n Pay can allow another customer to take what is already in your basket; while you are in the process of checking it out;all within the space of 2 minutes!"""
