Customer Service Review ~ PnP Tyger Valley

Before a third winter without a kettle in the Cape of Storms? I ordered a bright red kettle from PnP with much excitement.

Needless to say? None of us are above Murphy’s Law, and a daydream less than three months later? I flipped the switch, but there was no light nor the solacing sound of a kettle when a woman needs a warm cup of tea.

That was Saturday evening. So on Sunday, I called the customer service centre not knowing if I could talk to a human, but yes – PnP provides real human help, even on a Sunday 😊.

Some explanations and emails later? I received a call from the PnP who helped with the order, a second call from a customer service representative, and to my absolute amazement?

The third call was from Thanya, the customer service manager at PnP’s Tyger Valley branch, waiting at the gate where I currently reside - with a brand new kettle.

After working in retail for more than twenty years? I believe this is the kind of customer service to write about.

I wish Thanya and her colleagues all the customers they deserve. The willingness to go the extra mile and accommodate someone who cannot go to the store to do an exchange themselves on a Sunday afternoon did not go unnoticed, and I appreciate it beyond measure.
