Customer Service - not really

Visited Pick 'n Pay Brackenfell Hypermarket about a month ago. Found fleece pajamas for my son. Last one in his size. But there were strings hanging from it and the stitching was coming loose and there were plastic sewn into the fabric. I have really been looking for these for my son as they are sold out everywhere. The fleece kind. Asked if we could just get some discount as it is not in the best condition. The answer came back via one of the assistants, No. The manager will rather send it back to the supplier. I didn't want it for free.<br> This evening we were there again, this time saw a gas heater. The small one. It was standing amongst the big ones. No price and no one in sight to assist. We found someone in a aisle and asked for price. They came back. No stock left. Just this one. We must pay full price, even though it has been standing on rack for long (we saw it there when we were there for pajamas). We will not be getting the box or papers or anything. But full price: R649. Once again did not it free, but at least some discount as it is not sealed in box. Really? Customer Service??? They will not see me again. But what do they care, they have lots of customers...
