Customer care NON-EXISTANT

I was dissatisfied at some misleading advertising by Pick n Pay, so I communicated this, twice last week, to Pick n Pay via their online "contact us" option on their website (Wednesday, 12/9/18 and Thursday 13/9/18 ). I received no response at all so I emailed them on Friday morning, 14/9/18, and have done so twice again this week.

Their Customer Care has not rep**** to my communications in any way - barring auto-reponses to my emails (their refs: 35374, 36858 and 37317) . Terrible terrible service, I would have expected way better - at least contact within 48 hours, not well over a week and counting.

Sies, Pick n Pay, sies. Try taking care of your customers. It seems they're happy only to take our money, not listen when we speak.

And then - the advertising in one of their catalogues of a particular product which has a few variants - the ad doesn't specify only some of the variants being on special, instead it says "Assorted", and yet in the stores, only two of the variants are on special.

I travelled more than 80 kms to purchase a number of these specials, only to be very disappointed, arriving home without them, and then to have this kind of Customer "Service". :-(

Not ok, P+P. Not ok.

After sending my complaint to P+P a dozen or so times, I was finally told that someone in the supply link had made an error in the pricing (which was misleading). Fine and well, but a darn cheek to take it out on the customer who travlled a long way only to be disappointed by this error. Apologies, in this instance, are, in my mind, inadequate - a token voucher to keep a customer happy, P+P, would've gone a long way - since the problem was on your side, not the customer's. Really, would they rather lose all of a regular customer's business, for a token tiny +-0. ********** ********** ********** ********** ********** 1% of their monthly takings? Not good enough, P+P.
