Convenient Online Shopping??? - I think not

<p>I had a total hip replacement on 4 May 2016, so was not able to drive for 6 to 8 weeks. I decided to make use of Pick 'n Pay Online shopping for my groceries. The 1st time I used them, my groceries were over R1000.00. I did all the necessary, only to receive an email on the day the groceries were to be delivered, that it was cancelled due to Pick 'n Pay receiving a payment failure message from my bank. I phoned my bank and gave them a piece of my mind. They were not able to tell me what the problem was, as they could not see anything from their side. A few days later I tried online shopping again. The total of my purchases was under R1000.00. I did all the necessary again, and a few days later on the date I had chosen, my groceries were delivered. About 2 or 3 days later, I once again utilised Pick 'n Pay online shopping, as there were a few things I had forgotten to get on my previous order. The total was just a few hundred rand. I did all the necessary, and my groceries were delivered.</p> <p>On 13 June 2016, i once again utilised Pick 'n Pay Online shopping, and once again, did all the necessary. The total was just over R2000.00. Money was in my account, I did all the necessary, to once again receive an email from Pick 'n Pay informing me that my order had been cancelled as they had received "a payment failure message" from my bank. When I phoned Pick 'n Pay customer care, they could not tell me what the problem was, and when I phoned my bank, they said there was no problem.</p> <p>Can Pick 'n Pay not deal with online shopping orders for more than R1500.00?? Their convenient online shopping is really not that convenient at all.</p> <p>I have now had to make alternative arrangements to get the necessary groceries, by relying on someone to take me to the shops, and i will hobble around doing the shopping</p> <p>So once again - Pick 'n Pay online shopping....................... is not convenient at all.</p>
