CONSTANT Terrible service!!!!!!!

Pick n Pay Hout Bay continues to provide bad service!!!!!

Today was again a terrible service!!!!!. I wanted to do a cash back of ZAR1500.00 with my purchase at Pick n Pay Hout Bay.I had to go form till point to till point because no one had money. I got to the 3rd till and the cashier "Yolanda" tells me that she also don’t have. NOW I AM IRRITATED! I tell her to please call her superior to explain to me why that at month-end there is not this amount available within the store. Someone (I say someone because she was not wearing a name tag) came and asked what I wanted in isiXhosa. The conversation continue in isiXhosa(they do not know that I am multi- lingual) to a point where I said maybe I should take this matter up with Head Office. The Someone that confidently said I can do it. One of the previous till (Cashier Thokoza) then said she now have the amount and I had to go back to a line to wait.

One of the previous cashiers found it fine to tell the paying customer that her colleague is already waiting for a cash back and she can’t give me. OMG the colleague gets better service than me!!!!!!!

I am a regular customer who buys my lunch PnP Hout bay and received this disgusting service previously but because I am loyal to the Pick n Pay brand I continue to buy. If it’s not cashiers not greeting, it’s that there is no one at the hot food, or some white person who comes out of nowhere is attended to before me.

As I am writing this I cannot believe the **** I have gone through at this Pick n Pay and it’s not even operating that long in Hout Bay.

I want to be compensated for the pathetic service, (she didnt even swipe my smart shopper card).I spent more than 15minutes just waiting for this money. Management was also not visible. I don’t want to bring race in this but a white person would never receive this **** service. The sad thing is this type of service is from black people to black people, My colleague(black) who lives in Hout Bay(more than 15years) says she has gotten used to it, since she experience it from all Supermarkets except Woolworths. Maybe take some lessons from Woolies because cashiers know to greet with a “good day Sir…would you like a bag?”

God Knows the staff with good friendly service that I have dealt with I can count on 1 hand in that etire store. People just do not appreciate their jobs. THEY DON’T EVEN GREET!!!

You know a kind word from the cashiers should have been: I am sorry sir I do not have the required amount, I will ask my supervisor to check with my colleagues otherwise I can offer you a lower amount. SIMPLE, PROFFESIONAL, FRIENDLY AND SHOW A SENCE OF EMPATHY.
