Confused

Last year October my mom passed on and I discovered a Pick n Pay Protect Plus Policy powered by Old Mutual document amongst her belongings this policy was taken out in March 2014 , it was linked to her smart shopper card , since last year I have been trying to reach out to Pick n Pay and Old Mutual to get clarity on the policy, I went to Old Mutaul they have never heard about the policy, Pick n Pay claims they don't sell policies , if this was a product sold by Pick n Pay or Old Mutual how is it none of them know their products? I hope some light can be shed on this issue Thank you
