Completely Unacceptable - ****roaches found in hotdog roll
<p>Daily we are sitting with your rude staff, then we buy rolls and it's stale.. but tonight was the cherry on the cake. We buy hotdog rolls less than a few hours ago, hubby takes a bite of his roll and looks into his roll and there is not one but TWO baby ****roaches in his roll! He is sick to his stomach and I am about to throw up. What's worse is that we are so embarrassed because we have family over for dinner. Now wasting all our food! Someone had better get back to me ASAP otherwise I will take this further. One thing is for sure, we will NEVER shop there again!

Yesterday evening, we met with the PnP regional manager and store manager. I am pleased to find out that they are dealing with the ****roach infestation issue. My husband has had to educate them on how to get rid of these pests (though I feel they should already be completely aware of all of what we said). At the end of the day, I don't feel that we resolved this issue and yes, I do feel that offering us a R200 PnP voucher and practically forcing us to purchase at the very store (or chain of stores) that have just traumatized me and my family is more of an insult than compensation. This entire situation is a huge breach of the health and safety act and this is not tolerable and kosher at all. At the end of the day, I have no problem posting this whole charade on social media which includes, The Table Talk, Hellopeter, Facebook! So this review remain here as will the post on Facebook. I will also be in contact the health and safety board of the Western Cape to file a complaint against multiple Pick n Pay branches and to arrange further investigations. One thing is for sure, I will NEVER shop at PnP again.
