Completely raw chicken strips

To whom it may concern,

Attention: pick n pay management

I reported an incident after purchasing food from one of your outlets, unfortunately, my young son tucked into the chicken strips which were underdone and later resulted in tummy aches.

My son has a history of ills, we don’t expect for a store to have any knowledge of this, however a brand of your caliber ought to ensure ready to serve meals are well prepared and not underdone or even expired this as we all know could result in a series of ills for your loyal consumers!

While we appreciate the gesture to consolidate your error by offering my son a toy, considerably I have to decline the offer.

I sort advise from a legal representative and that of a good friend within the independent newspaper.

Pick n Pay is held to a great standard than many other retail outlets, A toy simply will not suffice since medication needed to be purchased and the time a working mother had to sit up and spend with a sick child is, unfortunately, more than what a toy can salvage.

Please let me know if there are any other means to offer some solace since I am a loyal shopper and frequent your stores more often than not with my young family

Thank you for getting back to me and I look forward to your response
