Complaint Regarding Food Quality

I am writing to formally raise a complaint about my recent experience at your store PNP STRAND STREET IN CAPE TOWN CBD.

On Monday, I purchased cheese pops and a few other items from the hot food section. Before buying, I specifically asked the staff member assisting me whether the cheese pops were fresh, as they appeared somewhat dry. I was assured that they were. I also requested that they be warmed, as I intended to eat them on my way home.

However, upon opening them shortly after leaving the store, I found them to be extremely hard and inedible. I was unable to chew them at all, which was both disappointing and frustrating.

What concerns me even more is the fact that I explicitly asked about the freshness and was misinformed. This reflects poorly not only on product quality but also on staff integrity and customer service. I have also noticed a consistently unwelcoming attitude from staff in the hot food section, which further adds to the negative experience.

I have kept the items and intend to return to the store to address this matter. As a regular customer, I find this level of service unacceptable and would appreciate it if this issue could be taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
