Complaint about rotten, moulded pizza

Hello Peter, On the 15 May 2021, I bought pizza at Pick n Pay Morningside Corner Rivonia and Outspan Roads. After eating first slice of pizza, the pizza appeared to have moulds. I went back to the store manager (Urban) to complain. He acknowledged that there were visible moulds and he issued a refund.

However, he did not seem to care about my health since I had already eaten one slice of that pizza. I then asked him what if I get sick, He said if I get sick I must bring the medical certificate. After hours, I developed symptoms that seemed to be of food poisoning which are: fatigue, stomach cramps, nausea and vomiting. Following day, I went to see the doctor and gave me medication that alleviated the symptoms and booked me off work for 4days (I used my sick leave days and my money to see the doctor). I then took the medical certificate to the pick n pay manager (Urban). He said I must do blood tests to show that the symptoms I had from eating rotten, moulded pizza were caused by that pizza, He gave me a form to be filled out by the doctor. I went back to the doctor and the doctor wrote me a letter stating what happened when I visited her.

Doctor said she could not do blood test because I had already taken medication. I then went back to the pick n pay manager (Urban) to give him the letter. He said since there is no blood test, there is nothing he could do, He did not even refund me the money I used to see the doctor after eating their rotten pizza.
