Complaint

I have recently moved to Sedgefield in the Western Cape and the only grocery shop here is Pick 'n Pay. It seems like due to the fact that there are no other grocery shop to choose from I just have to be happy with the bad service. It has now happened a few times where a pamphlet with specials are given out, but you are lucky when you can buy these specials. Their answer is always "Oh we did not receive it" or "it is not a good seller so we do not order it". However it seems that sometimes that just after the special is over the racks are packed with that product. Recently there was a special of Tomato sause, sweet chillie and mayonnaise. This special only ran until the 19th of August. When I went to enquiry about this special not being on the shelves I was told that the mayonnaise does not sell, but that they will order this for me. 2 Days later again enquired about this special and then I was told no they don't have it and wont order it. After being very upset about the two answers I am getting I was told that it would be ordered in and that they will call me. Needless to say I am still waiting for that call. I know of several other people that have put a "rain check" in due to specials being advertised but never ordered. This is not the first time it has happened to me. There have been many specials that simply did not come in or was not ordered. This is in my eyes very poor service and I feel like I am being held hostage to the fact that I do not have a choice to shop anywhere else except go to George or Knysna.
