Complaint

This morning I went to PNP in Howard Centre. I went to buy Aloe juice only to discover that the expiry dates ranged from 3rd April, 2nd May and 3rd May. I went to speak to the store manager who informed me that as the expiry date said 3rd May they could still sell it today the 3rd of May and when I asked him Ruan benade how he expected people to buy expired goods he informed me that he could still sell it today. He then told me he would check in the back of the store if they had other stock. Ruan then proceeded to disappear, he then sent a staff member to tell me that they would give me a juice free. Hellooooo the juice is expired. Your spineless manager argued with me about the expiration dates which he checked and could clearly see he was in the wrong as I took photos of the dates on the juice but hey here you go have an expired bottle of juice on us. If that is the type of spineless people you employ no wonder you are selling expired products. What makes it worse is the Store manager Ruan Benade could not come tell me anything to my face he rather sent his staff member to shut me up with a free bottle of expired juice. A juice I buy because my Doctor advised that it was good for a stomach ailment I have.

I am utterly disgusted at the treatment of the store manager first arguing with me that he had the right to sell the expired juice today the 3rd because the bottle said the 3rd. Expired is expired no matter how you want to paint it. Or is it that we should be so thankful that you are open during lock down that we must just shut up and by the expired products.
