Clueless Staff!

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT I was in your Longacres (Zambia) shop yesterday evening. I entered the shop just after 18:00hrs. On display was a sign which showed that Coke (regular and sugar free) were on special at K119.90. I therefore bought two cases. When I got to the till I was charged K131.88. As I was purchasing for my office (Government), i needed to get a written receipt. I however, told the workers in your shop ( Shadreck, Bandela , Jane and another lady whose name I didnt get), to reduce the price of the Coke. I was told that the price had changed. I took the workers to task saying if the price had changed why was the display still showing K119.90? I took a picture by the way. The workers then graciously offered to pay me back the difference which was about K25. I therefore asked them to change the till slip as well to read the adjusted price, less K25. I told them that the principle was the same, just as I wasnt prepared to pay an extra K25 I also wasnt going to get the K25 whilst the slip showed a higher amount. That was the beginning of the night mare!! I think asking them to reproduce a receipt of the right amount is way above their levels of competence! I think its too much for your workers to reduce a bill by K25! An hour later I was still standing in your shop as your workers run around quite unable to help me. At 19:00hrs, I decided to leave, as I was already late for another meeting which i had. I had already left my name and telephone number so I had expected them to call me, especially as they knew that I needed a written receipt for my work place. Upto now no one has called me.

I am totally disappointed and angry!
