Ciggarette sales during lockdown
Smokers have been given a reprieve when it comes to buying cigarettes under lockdown in the Western Cape.
The provincial government, in its interpretation of the lockdown rules and in consultation with the police, says cigarettes may be purchased at shops provided they are bought along with other essential goods.
Clearly this store did not get this memo. My husband tried to buy with his essentials and he was told that's **** news. My father in law went to the same store and wanted to buy a few a few packets with his essentials... He too, was told, it, **** news. How do they get there updates? I thought it would be important since there are franchises all over south africa, I thought they would keep uo to date with the news, but clearly not
