Cheese tastes like plastic

My wife bought the PnP branded cheddar cheese (on 13/10) at PnP, Killarney Mall for our week breakaway (18-23/10). It tastes like plastic - awful. The cheese at PnP store in the Westrand (Wilropark) high quality (close to us). What went wrong? Kindly investigate and revert. Understandably, it has now become a trust issue.
