CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE LEAVING PICK N PAY!

Twice in 2 weeks I have bought Melitta ground coffee (the 500gm packets). On the shelf the price is shown as R85 (plus a few cents) but when I got to the check -out, the amount that was rung was R100.87. This happened first at the Park Meadows shop and secondly - yesterday - at ****arney Mall. Neither manager was in the least bit interested in taking the matter further (though at Park Meadows I was refunded R85.00 at ****arney it was less for some reason). I find it hard to believe that this is an accident - meaning that PnP is doing this deliberately in the hope that customers do not check their bills. This is happening at more and more stores and not just Pick n Pay - at Woolworths it's even more common.
