Chasing Customers away
I visited this store at 13h00 today. As I walked in, Security told me I must leave my backpack at the parcels counter. I explained the backpack/(handbag) contained valuables such as my purse, cellphone, etc. but Security still insisted I hand over my backpack because they were not allowed in the store. I did not observe any notices advising customers of this ruling. The Security Manager (Priscilla) was called who said the ruling was introduced because ********* used backpacks. I regard being treated in such a manner as being extremely insulting, the implication being that I was a potential *****; and an indication that my custom at this store is not valued or required. Although I have shopped at this store since it was first originally opened, I shall not be going back there anytime soon, if ever again.
