Cashier *****

On Friday 27th April 2018 my wife and I shopped at Northgate. As it was just a small shop, we used the 10 items and under queue. We paid with my wife's visa card and left. When we got to our car my wife said how much was it. I said I think I saw R562 on the screen. She said the FNB sms had said that it was R612. I got the slip out and sure enough, the cost of the items was R562.10, however a Cashback amount of R50 was added onto the visa card. I went back into the store. I looked for a manager, however, as it was Freedom Day there wasn't one around. I spoke to the security staff who looked bewildered. They weren't helpful at all. So I went to the cashier (I have her name). She said she had made a mistake and gave me the R50. This is NOT THE POINT. She had every intention of keeping that R50. I want to know how common this is amongst your cashiers. She just had to do this 10 times a day and she would be earning an extra R2 000 per week off your Customers. Action must be taken against this ********** activity immediately. Thank you
