Cashier demanded I hand my bank card over to her

<p>Went to PNP clohing in Parkview on Sunday to buy a few items. Upon paying, i opted to insert my credit card into the card reader myself (as a credit card holder it is my obligation to minimize myrisk in terms of *****, cloning etc.). The cashier however was very unhappy with the fact that I am inserting and removing my own card from the mashine and INSISTED that the MUST see my card, being 8.5 months pregant and wanting to avoid conflict I was left with no choice but to hand it over. She then made a scene pretending to verify that the card number on the sales slip and the one on the card match. <br /><br />I am livid that I was forced to hand my card over to her. My transaction was verified with my PIN number and there were ZERO need for the cashier to insist on handeling my card. I have inserted my card myself into all POS devices for a long time and NEVER EVER have i come across this.<br /><br />I will in future rather skip PNP and do my shopping elsewhere as this behavious was uncalled for and compromise the safetely of my card.</p>
