BP AND PICK N PAY COMPETITION FOR WINNING TOY RACING CARS

Pick n Pay smartshopper and BP has a competition running. In this competition for every four times you put in R600 of fuel you get a model racing car. I found out from garage that about competition and got myself a smart shopper card. Then I filled up and tried to swipe my card but it wasn't registered. Then i called the smart shopper help desk and they assisted to register online. Then I filled up my tank with the R600 everytime and swiping my smart shopper card. After I reached 4 times filling up on fuel for R600 or more I wait for the voucher number which is suppose to be sent to me so I can collect the car from a BP garage. No sms arrives. Then I contact the help desk of smart shopper and they explain to me the terms and conditions are that o first have to update my details at the help desk and indicate on the application form that I want to receive sms from pick n Pay. Strangely enough when the assistant at the help desk ask me for my contact number for verification purposes she doesn't recognize my cell number. She has to ask me other questions for verification. Therefore when she tells me that I needed to update my info on the smart shopper page, I ask her what number or whose number was registered under my name. She says she can't tell me because she changed it to my number. At the end of the day who says someone did not pug their own number in place of mine to receive my sms? Why does BP and pick n pay make it so difficult and time consuming to enter their competitions, is it that they really don't want people to win this prizes. IF I CAN GIVE ANY ADVICE DONT USE BP THEY BURN OFF FAR TOO QUICKLY ANYHOW...SASOL IS BETTER.
