#boycottpickn'pay
I bought a vodacom sim card from Pick n' Pay in Moletsane soweto (Merafe) to perform a sim swap and after calling vodacom for the sim swap, had to wait for 3 or 24 hrs for the process to be complete and upon inserting the sim card on my phone, it doesn't work, tried inseting the sim card in another phone, it still didn't work. So I returned to Pick n' pay and I was told by Lulama (Assistant manager) that I won't receive a refund or an exchange since I had opened up the sim card package, then I had to ask " How would I know if it is functional or not unless I opened up the sim package" He then told me that how would he resell the sim package since I had opened it up, I further asked him if he had the intention of selling a dysfunctional item to another client and shockingly his reply was YES!! He told me that I'm wasting my time as I was neither going to receive a refund or an exchange and I should just **** off as he is busy. Clearly in contravention with the CPA. When asked how he would feel if he treated that way?All I got was he isn't in that situation so he cant comment on it! Clearly showing lack of empathy. Another employee in management told me that I should just call vodacom and enquire but then how do I do that when the sim was purchased from pick n' pay and not from a voda shop. Guess great customer service is only available to Pick n' pay customers in the suburbs as insinuated by the mighty Lulama. Now hate pick n' pay for robbing me
