Beware of pick n pay no name brand damaging your crockery

<p>I had the misfortune of using pnp no name brand dish washing powder and rinse. It made such a mess of our dish washer, the crockery, glassess and cutlery. I reported this to pick n pay customer care. We had to deliver samples to pick n pay to be tested. They were apparantly tested and they could find nothing wrong with the powder. The crockery and glassess have a sandblasted look. The mugs now have a matt finish. Where they were glossy before. The so called representative from Echo Chemicals, Denise Sherri, inspected the crockery. She insisted the mugs were cheap mugs from Clicks, we pointed out to her they were bought at @Home. Some were bone China mugs bought from pick n pay. She just ignored what my wife and I said. The mugs can't be used anymore, but that didn't bother her or pick n pay. I contacted Denise Engelbrecht from pick n pay head office who really was not that interested in helping me nor was the head of customer care, Mary Anne Hattingh who had the cheek to say what proof do they have that the crockery and glasses were not like that before it was washed. They paid out R500-00 for us to replace all the crockery and glasses after we gave them a quote and the Chet Chemicals representative said the quote had been approved. Pick n Pay are not interested I our problem. I asked for one of the directors to contact me but none have bothered to call me. This is obviously the sort of service you now get from pick n pay.</p>
