Being sold soon to expire items

I went to pick n pay on the 16th of May 2020 and I bought a grocery with my fiance. I put them in the freezer and that was my choice cause I knew I was not planning to return them. Early morning I realised the bacon where about to expire within 8 days and I took them back to the store froozen. In the store the manager called the lady who works at the bacon side and her reason was "they froozen we can't take them because we need to put them back"... Meaning the same expirery items should be taken back for someone to take them.. She's willing to risk another customer heath and sell expired items. I would understand if I was given a valid reason other than that. We called your head office with the complain ND even today Iam still waiting for their call.... Iam still stuck with the bacon in my freezer even now. I feel like I've been ****** my money
