BAR code Pricing differ

Hi Guys. I wish you can go back in the past where a board was advertised in the store - that if the price on the shelve differs from the till price that you can get this for free. I had enough of this Monday the 28 Sept 15. Getting to the till - the first and the second items prices was incorrect and not the same as what was indicated on the shelve. I did call management and told them enough is enough - This is getting worse by the day. What do they expect from the clients - to cross check every price. I have stop the entire purchase worth +/- R850 and went to checkers.
