Bad supply planning

The past three weeks Pick 'n Pay The Reeds, Centurion, is stocked out on Whiskas Cat Food Multipack Pouch Fish & Meat (12 x 85g). I spoke to a staff member and was informed that "a shipping container washed away" in Kwazulu-Natal. They were informed they won't receive any stock before 2023,

This is absolutely disgusting and bad planning. Surely their supply planning department could find an alternative source of supply.

It seems as if Pick 'n Pay is not employing forward thinking staff.
