Bad slow service
I work close to Pick n Pay and therefore it's the most convenient store for me to grab lunch or daily essentials at. I am totally dismayed by the amount of time it takes me to run in to buy 1 item, like a bread for example. I am at the point of always seeking alternate stores to purchase from as most cashiers have no respect for the time of the customers. They are generally slow, have no interest in being there or resolving customer issues. I used to be a cashier and I know how it should be done. The cashiers don't greet, smile or make eye contact. One day the scanner broke and the cashier still tried scanning each item in the lady in front of me's trolley 5 times, before eventually inputting the barcode for the item, then we were onto scanning the next item 5 times, before inputting the barcode. When it came my turn, she did the same with my bread and then because she was now so annoyed, she chucked my bread on the counter. I had to reprimand her and remind her that its rude to throw food around and \I"still had to eat it. The cashiers at this store just need a total attitude adjustment or give up their jobs to people who will happily service the customers."""
