Bad shopping experience at Pick N Pay

1. On Sunday (05-06-22) in the afternoon I purchased a Puffer jacket (ART NO:869018) at one of your store in Hazeldean Pretoria.

2. While at home after wearing it I noticed it had damages on the right shoulder.

3. On Saturday(11-06-22) I went back to the store for an exchange as mine had a defect. I have indicated to the store manager (Emma) that all I need is an exchange as I loved the jacket. They couldn’t find any around Pretoria as they said.

4. Since they couldn’t find one, I requested for a refund. The manager became agitated and impatient with me. She kept on speaking over me. I have appealed to her to listen, however my plea fell to deaf ears.

5. My dignity as a customer received full assault. As the store made suggestions that the jacket was damaged because I was wearing it too much. What was I supposed do with it? Hang it in my closet?

6. I’m of the view that as the store manager she should at least understand the CPA Act (consumer Protection Act) or some knowledge.

7. I had to leave the store again with that damaged jacket.

8. You are too quick to take our money while selling substandard goods. I’m not happy at all. Then we have to come and be subjected to substandard personnel at your stores.

9. All I want now is to be fully refunded. I’m done with your store I don’t want anything to do with you anymore.
