Bad service from Pick n Pay
On the 27th of November I placed an order for delivery on the 8th of December. The order included fresh produce ( Chicken portions) When they delivered the order, I noticed that half of the chicken received expired the same day as delivery and the other half the next day. , I made a note on the delivery slip about the "almost" expired goods, as this was for more than 6kg worth of meat and we would definitely not be able to consume it in time. On the 12th of December I also sent a mail to enquire on the process to lodge a formal complaint. ONLY 2+ weeks later, on the 31st of December, I got a reply asking for more information. I have rep**** with all the information on the 4th of January . Since then, i have sent a few mails to get some feedback but have not heard anything back yet. It is now almost 6 weeks since delivery and nothing was done to try and remedy the situation. I think it is bad service to send almost expired goods as when I am in store I will pick the freshest items available. I know that they have technically delivered it within the va;lid time, but as it is 6kg's I can not consume it that fast. I will definitely not do any online orders from Pick n Pay again.
