Bad service

Good day

I went to PnP Vangate on Thursday 28 Nov '24. Got to the store early hoping to just get what I want and leave before it gets busy. Got everything I needed but when we were on our way to the check out I noticed the long quees and only 4 tills were open.

This was really frustrating having to stand in long quees early in the morning. Be it as it may my husband and I stood waiting patiently in the quee only to be told when we got to the cashier that "this is an express till, only 10 items or less"!!

Really Pnp??

Black Friday specials, you have limited tills open and then you still say 10 items or less!!

This is UNACCEPTABLE.

My husband tried explaining to the cashier that we were not aware that it is an express till but she was arrogant and actually started to argue with us and very adamant in saying she is not gonna help us we need to go stand in a different quee. She then started to ask if there's customers with less then 10 items in the quee, they can come to the front,so that she can help them instead of us who is standing in front or her, with our groceries packed out on the belt.

We were livid to say the least. I requested to see the manager and told her I'm not leaving , she then shouted to the lady at the opposite counter saying "where is Nozuko this people don't want to understand it is 10 items or less".

The lady then came to the till not sure if she was her manager /supervisor but she told her just help the customers because they already unpacked their goods and then we will make an announcement for the next customers to know that this is an express till.

The cashier then very ubruptly started to scan our products and she made it clear she's not going to pack it and my husband decided to do it. He asked her which bags he should use she did not answer him. She proceeded with a grin on her face, gave the slip without thanking us and she did not make any eye contact.

I am totally disgusted with the service from Latetia Adams. I can not believe that this is the manner in which you treat a customer.

Her conduct is pathetic and she has no problem in showing you that she does not care.

I've never experienced anything like this before!!
