Bad service

Bought an electrical pineware 2 plate stove in October 2020 not even 4 months later it was damaged and stopped working, I took it back to the shop to which they advised that I missused the stove. I am still trying to understand that term when they say the has a 1 year warranty and guarantee. I just feel it's a ******* considering the price it costs and their claim to last longer.
