BAD SERVICE AT PICK N PAY PINECREST

I went to Pick n Pay in Pinecrest mall this afternoon. When i got to the till point, there was a delay with the customer in front of me. The cashier didn't bother to explain to the rest of us in the queue that there was a delay and that it will be sorted out shortly. When it was my turn, she just started scanning items, no greeting whatsoever, then gave a cold stare and said "plastic". I said yes please. She carried on scanning and didnt ask for my smart shopper card until i handed it to her. As she was packing my items after paying (there was no packer to assist), the customer behind me stated that she was 1 packet of chips short, only to realise that the cashier scanned it with my items. The cashier then SCOLEDED the customer behind me, telling her that she mustn't put her items her items too close to the items that belong to the customer in front of her. She then looked at me and said "this means you'll have to go and do a refund at the kiosk". She turned to the other lady and said "you'll have to got and get another packet because she will use these ones for the refund". No apology for the inconvenience. A packer came and took me to the kiosk and explained to the cashier there what had happened. She had to scan all the chips I paid as a refund, then re- scan only the chips i originally wanted for a refund. After scanning all 4 items for a refund, the system acknowledged the promo and the refund came through to R34 (which was for 3 packets), but i was charged for 4. We stood a while waiting for the supervisor to come through but she took her time to the point that I got frustrated and told her to leave it. Atleast this last cashier apologised, but it wouldnt have happened if the first cashier was vigilant and polite. I always ensure that I treat all staff with respect as I have worked in retail before and I know it isn't easy, so I try by all means to be polite, share a smile or even a joke, but from what I've noticed our black female cashiers always have attitude when it comes to black female customer. This is unacceptable
