Bad service and rotten goods
We have been Pick 'n Pay customers for many years. We spend a few thousand every month at P'nP Honey Junction every month, buying all our groceries EVERY Saturday/Sunday, which is a lot of money, considering we are vegetarians. Every week, without fail, we have problems with their fruit and veggies. Within a day, or two MAX, the stuff is rotten and we have to throw it away. We also experience over pricing on these goods. On one occasion my husband had to take sweet potatoes back, then bananas, and the list goes on. The Manager had quite an arrogant approach and gave the impression that my husband was bothering him. Last week we had the same problem, with all the fruit bought from them, being rotten within a day, so my husband phoned customer care. A chap phoned him back, and promised to take it up with the branch. After numerous phone calls, no one from the branch/customer care has done anything to set this right. I will not set foot in Pick 'n Pay again. We are now buying from Food *****s Market, which caters for all our needs, and give us excellent value for money. If P'nP couldn't be bothered losing a customer who spends thousands every month, so be it!!
Thank you for taking the time to contact Pick n Pay and for raising your concerns.
We do apologise for the poor quality of the products , and for the poor customer service received.
