Bad Service

On the afternoon of the 25th of August 2026 I decided to go to my local Pick n Pay store located in Rosmead avenue, Kenilworth I needed to do a cashsend withdrawal and some grocery shopping. I was absolutely appaulled by the disgusting customer services which I received as I entered the store there was a customer standing at the front desk wanting to do a withdrawal as well that said the store had no money. As me and my partner live close by and had walked to the store he refused to walk all the way back to the mall and approached the cashier and ask if he could draw R300 cash her name was Zizico, she said she had no cash,there was no greeting, no apology and no willingness to help. We then went to the front desk and the cashier there redirected us to the manager. The manager then redirected us back to the cashier Zizico who then miraculously had cash which magically appeared in her till she was rude told us that the cashsend reference number text from the bank was incorrect and argued the fact making me have to read it out to her. When my partner told her that he would have known that he had money in his till as he had accounting on school her response to him was good for you. This is unacceptable customers service received and it was a disaster and ruined our morning. I then refuse to do any further shopping there. As my partner has anxiety and suffers from anger issues which is documented by the court this a very harmful situation for him to be in and it was detrimentaled to his mental well-being. I am honestly sad to say that this has been the worst custom services experience I've had in the whole of the Western cape. You guys have to choose the right people to work at your company and they need extensive training on how to deliver exceptional customers service, and managers should not be having casual conversations when things like this is happening in the store. I am a very unhappy customer and Pick n Pay was my store of choice you just lost R6000 a month as I will no longer shop at Pick n Pay.
