Bad service

Have tried to draw cash from PnP on three times, and each time I am told they do not have the amount requested. No alternative is offered, just sorry we cannot help, and off they go doing their normal thing - conversing and spending time on cellphones! The service is offered as a safer and cheaper option, but with this experience I am reverting my efforts towards SPAR and Checkers - much friendlier.

Hi Reinhardt,

Thanks for taking the time to write to us regarding your experience.

Please accept our apologies for the poor service experienced at this store.

Many stores have a withdrawal limit as cashiers are instructed to drop cash when it reaches a certain point to avoid the risk of ******ies.

The same rules applies for the cash office, they also have to drop cash and have limited cash available to assist cashiers with change for their float.

Once cash has been dropped it is impossible for them to retract these funds as it is dropped into a secure drop bin that is only accessible to the cash in transit company.

We do understand your frustration in this matter. To avoid disappoints we would suggest that you give store a call before heading over to have a chat with the store manager to make arrangements for the amount that you require.

We value you as a Pick n Pay customer and are committed to improve continually on our service levels. Kind regards,
The Pick n Pay Team
