Bad service

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband. An hour ago he visited this store at Protea North Soweto. He visited the store to buy a birthday cake for our son. He was assisted by a lady called Martha Maroleng at till no.9. He gave Martha R120 and the cake costs R110. Martha gave him a receipt without a R10 change. When he asked her she denied the R120 meaning she was not concentrating. My husband insisted that he wants the R10 which is his money not for donating to the store. The supervisor had to close off the till and went with her to the cash office to count the money. They came back and she gave her another attitude instead of apologising firmly she said "I am just giving you but it's not your money and only R9 something is extra." This took all his time and the attitude of the cashier was completely unacceptable on his son's birthday. Martha must learn to concentrate because she was busy talking to her colleagues while attending the customer and that affects the service and the store's image. Even though the store is in the black people'a area but money is the same. She must treat people with respect and dignity while working for her family. She must always remember why she went to look for a job at Pick n Pay.
