I bought a mini stove at Pick n Pay in Promenade last year 25/05/2018 and the stove stopped working a few weeks ago and took it back to the store on 22/04/2019 and firstly the Supervisor/Manager of the appliance section was very rude and very sarcastic. She asked me for proof of purchase of the stove and when I open the box to get the receipt, she said " No , this is abuse" and asked me why is the stove like this and I told her because we use the stove to cook on a daily basis. When I asked her what she means by abuse she just turned her back and told the black lady in Customer Service to explain to me in my language what she means by abuse. I told her that there is no need for her to ask a black person to explain because I can understand English perfectly well and we have speaking English the whole time but when I asked what is her definition of abuse she wants someone else to explain for me in Xhosa. The customer service lady asked her if she cannot give me another stove since the stove is still within warranty and plus I bought the stove at the store, she told her that they are out of stock. She eventually took the stove after giving me a run around and refusing to take the stove claiming it is "abuse" and said that she will send it away to the manufacture for it to be fixed and advised she will call me within that week to give me an update but up until today I'm still waiting for that call.
